If you’re someone who likes their coffee on the stronger side, this is a pod for you. We like the Stockholm Fortissio Lungo because it’s a strong coffee that’s not too bitter it’s also a great coffee to drink if you’re looking for something straightforward with no major flavor notes. You’ll also find that the color of the coffee is a deep brown–this is due to the darker roasting process, but it’s not too overpowering. The Stockholm Fortissio Lungo is roasted at a level four, meaning that it’s not too bitter or too dull. The Stockholm Fortissio Lungo hits with a moderate level eight intensity, right in the middle of strong and regular coffees, making it a balanced choice for most Nespresso fanatics. However, as it cools down, you’ll get hints of acidity and sweetness. You’ll also find that it’s quite bitter, especially when it’s hot. As you take your first sip, you’ll notice that it’s quite dry and not oily like some of the other pods the structure of the coffee is also thinner, but the intensity is still high. There’s a slight hint of flowers in there, as well. When you first smell the Stockholm Fortissio Lungo, you’ll be hit with roasted coffee beans’ intense and rich aroma. The Monsooned Malabar gives the coffee its intensity, while the Colombian Arabica contributes to the sweetness and bitter aftertaste. The Stockholm Fortissio Lungo is a blend of Indian Malabar coast Arabica and Latin America Arabica. Previously known as just the Fortissio Lungo, the new line named the Stockholm Fortissio Lungo is an ode to the coffee-loving Swedes, some of the biggest consumers of coffee in the world.
